About CADAICO

CADAICO GmbH is an AI company based in Stuttgart. We develop modular software that is configured and tailored for each customer to automate mechanical engineering design. The solution works directly within the customer’s CAD system, using their own data, and delivers native CAD files with feature tree.

What sets us apart

We combine modern AI methods with classical algorithms, calculations and simulations. AI processes language, documents and technical drawings, while classical algorithms generate the actual design. This keeps results transparent and reproducible. Engineering data remains in our customers’ environment. Our solutions are GDPR compliant and aligned with the EU AI Act.

Our team

CADAICO was founded in 2023 by Pedram Shahid, a mechanical engineer from the Technical University of Munich with 16 years of industry experience, including management roles at international mechanical engineering groups. Today, a team of 5 to 7 employees—primarily mechanical and software engineers—works on the customer-specific automation of engineering design processes. As a publicly supported AI start-up from Baden-Württemberg, one of Europe’s leading mechanical engineering hubs, we combine technical expertise with a strong network.
